Hey, my name's Alex.

For close to a decade, I was obsessively producing music. After being inspired by the life and sound of Tim Bergling - aka Avicii - I decided to finally act on a lifelong goal I'd had to write and produce a single song. What started as a mission to make that one song turned into years of obsession - mostly out of curiosity to see how good I could get at this music thing.

After about 200 different song ideas, I noticed that I found myself doing the same thing over and over again; I was producing on a laptop and manually inputting all my expressions with a mouse with no way to really perform the sounds I was feeling. Sure, I could use my MIDI keyboard, and I did a lot, but I was also away from home a lot producing on my lunch break, or at a coffee shop, or even sometimes just comfortably in bed. I wanted something as portable as my laptop that could allow me to have all the expressive input I would need for my productions wherever I was.

After a fruitless search on the internet for about an hour looking for what I needed, I was stunned when I realized "I don't think what I'm looking for actually exists."

At that point, I figured, "maybe I can just make this thing myself."

Fast forward a few years with a patent in hand and stacks of sketches, I set out to find a team that could help me bring this controller to life.

I always knew this was something that I could've benefitted a lot from having as an electronic music producer, but to see how many other musicians all around the world were just as excited for this little device made it all the more exciting for me to be the one to bring it to everybody.

I hope this controller can have a positive impact on the music community. I love to make things, whether it be a new song or a new piece of technology, and a successful run with my first little invention would allow me to continue building for the music community I love being a part of.
